Reagan Turns 1

It blows my mind that my sweet Reagan is 1.  It really seems like just yesterday that she arrived, and here we are.

Mind.Blown.

Crazy!

So how did we celebrate?  Let's just say Elsa was working her magic that Saturday!  ;)

I'm pretty sure that every parent on the internet has thrown their child a Frozen themed birthday party in the last year so I had A TON of inspiration to draw from.

Let's dive right in, shall we?

I'd have to say my crowning achievement was the cake.  I followed this tutorial to a tee and it did not lead me astray.  Thank you, thank you!!

Reagan didn't eat hardly any of it, but she enjoyed making a mess of it, and what more can you ask for for first birthday pictures, right?

Here's some of the other foods I made for the par-tay, check the link below for the Pinterest inspiration.

For decor, I really lucked out that all the Christmas/Snow/Snowman stuff was out in full force at the Dollar Store.  I pretty much just filled a cart full of all the snowflakes, blue cellophane, and snowman table cloths I could find.  I think it turned out pretty cute.

What do you think?

I think we really achieved that "Elsa's Ice Castle" look, and I loved the snowflakes with Reagan's picture in them.  It reminded me of the intro to the Frozen DVD:

And that's all she wrote.  It was a really fun afternoon, and a really fun way to celebrate our girl.
