Update on Reagan

I'm resolving myself to blog every day when Logan goes down for his nap.  If Reagan is awake or not. This needs to happen.  We will see how it goes!

Today I'm just going to keep it simple and give a quick update on our sweet Reagan Brooke.  Can you believe it's already been 5 months since she was born???  I know I can't.  It's gone by so fast, but at the same time it's hard to remember what life was like before she arrived.

Anyway, Reagan is pretty much the best, easiest baby I've ever known.  She hardly ever cries (although when she does, she REALLY cries), she sleeps all the way through the night, every night (has since she was 6 weeks old, bless her), eats great (already weighs 20 lbs), puts up with her big brother literally jumping on her every waking second of the day (and sometimes every NOT waking second), has the cutest smile and laugh, and seriously is just content to sit on my lap or in her Bumbo all day and chew on her Sophie giraffe and look adorable.

Her particulars:

She loves me.  And I'm not just saying that.  She REALLY does.  I've never seen a baby with such a mommy attachment.  She doesn't really like anyone else to hold her (although she's definitely warming up to daddy).  There was a woman at a church function recently who asked if she could take her while I was teaching a lesson and I politely just told her, "Thank you, but she will scream and will not be able to be consoled."  It's just the truth.  It's mommy or nobody.

She's not a stellar napper.  Since she sleeps SO well at night, I guess this is to be expected.  I can usually squeeze out a 30-45 minute nap from her in the morning, and usually she'll cat nap in my arms sometime in the afternoon.  For a good night's sleep though, I'll take it!

Did I mention the Sophie giraffe?  Well she's in love.  I thought Logan liked the Sophie, but it's nothing to the relationship Reagan has with it.  She will chew her face off all day.  She perks up just seeing it.  Getting teeth soon?  Maybe.

She just started rolling back to front.  Since she's so incredibly chunky it took her a little longer than it did Logan (he rolled just before 4 months).  It's pretty much the cutest thing and then she gets the biggest grin.

She thinks Logan is hilarious.  One night we were sitting at dinner and Logan was jumping up and down next to the table and she just busted up laughing at him.  It happens all the time.  She will just be watching him and then all the sudden- uncontrollable laughter starts coming out of both of them.

Like I said before- it's hard to imagine life without her.  She filled a hole in my heart that I didn't even know was missing.  No matter how my day is going, all I have to do it just look at her and I can't help but smile.

Anyway, here's some recent pictures of her.  I know that's all you came for ;)

And what's our little Miss up to right now, you ask?

What else?
