It was during this time of great ambitions, that I really felt like Reagan needed a doll. I loved dollies when I was little. They were always one of my favorite toys. I thought to myself, I could totally make a doll for her. And I could totally make one for Logan too! I guess pregnant brain was in full effect, because I'm a lot of things, but I am NOT handy with a sewing machine!
Enter this wonderful tutorial I found on my main squeeze, Pinterest.
Aren't these dolls pretty much the cutest toys you've ever seen? And I loved that there was a boy doll and a girl doll- perfect for my boy and my -soontobe- girl.
Seriously, the directions to make these little lovelies from Makeit-Loveit could not have been easier. I have nothing to add. Just to say that someone with extremely LIMITED experience can totally make one of these dolls in a couple of hours.
So without further ado....
My finished product!
I love them! I gave them to the kids for Christmas this last year and they love them too. Even if they don't show it! I know someday, they will love playing with them. And if not, they look super cute sitting in their bedrooms.
I get compliments on them all the time. And my favorite part is saying, "I made that!" And seriously it was super easy. Soooo... do yourself a favor and head on over to MakeIt-LoveIt and make one yourself. This is definitely a Pin WIN for me, and a craft that you don't want to miss!
